What I've Stumbled Upon!

If you have not heard of stumbleupon.com then I recommend you sign up for a free account.  This tool searches the vast amount of websites, blogs and all types of internet media and recommends links for you to view based on your personal interests!  This is amazing.  I've logged in for the first time and have a full page of endless creativity.  I no longer have to go search for it....it now comes to me!  (I'm sure my need to explore on my own will still keep google logged in my favorites!)

For those of you who have an interest and are small business owners...designing, maintaining and updating your online websites, blogs, and social networking sites, etc. ... I will be posting some information and quick tips for e-marketing that I have discovered along the way.  Just thought I'd share the wealth!

Stay tuned!

Oh me, oh my!

Blogs, blogs, and more blogs.  Lately, I've found myself lost in the 'friends of the friends of the friends' of blog posts.  One link leads to another and....I'm lost in creative bliss....and I can't remember how I got there!  I've decided to start keeping a roadmap of links as a record of my internet adventures and a way to find these amazing sites again!

I have posted them under "sew inspired".  I hope you enjoy them as much as I have!

Gift Recommendations {Super Cute!}

The Christmas countdown is on!!  Looking for last minute gifts?  Check out Urban Petal...an online boutique.  These are super cute (I know, I have them in all colors!!) and are really versitile.  The snaps and/or straps make excellent stocking stuffers.

They have daily deals and sometimes offer complementary shipping and handling.   Support your local Small Business's this Christmas!

Sassy Mei

Have you heard of Sassy Mei?  I've just recently learned that Sassy Mei is a traveling Craft Boutique that has contracted with local home builders and hosts shows in various model homes around the area.  There is a show going on this weekend in Snoqualmie.  If you're looking for original and unique gifts then this is the place for you! Starting November 6th & 7th...the address is "The Trails at Deer Park" in Snoqualmie Ridge: 8904 Norman Avenue SE.

Their next show will in February, 2010 at Pickering Barn in Issaquah.  Look for Quilter Girl products at both of these shows!

Fun Summer Projects!

Happy August Quilters!

It is hard to believe August has snuck up on us sew quickly!  :)  This year has flown by - which means the holiday's are quickly approaching.  I'm starting to gather ideas for Christmas gifts and little treasures of ''i'm thinking of you'' knick nacks...along with finding random summer projects and "I'd love to do this sometime" patterns.

So...I thought I'd share with you some ideas I have stumbled upon at Moda's "Bake Shop" which has some really fun and *FREE* patterns to sew this summer or...to make as a gift!  This link has such a variety...anywhere from Toddler Wear, Fresh Quilt Patterns to Giant Pin Cushions and Fabric Strawberries!

Create and be creative!  Have fun and post pictures of your projects!
