Etsy Sellers Beware

If you are a seller on Etsy and get a conversation that looks similar to this, beware!

"My name is Miss Vivian Morex and is like am highly intrested in immediate purchase of ur item and i will also like to know if you will accept cashier check for the payment and i will also like to tell you that i have my own shipping company who takes good care of my goods so don`t bother your self about the shipping arrangement so if you are ok with all this kindly get back to me via my email so that i can get back to you fast. vivianmorex1 [!at] yahoo.com." 

I found that many other Etsy sellers were hit with the same message too.  If you receive a message like this, forward it to abuse@etsy.com.  Here are some helpful links regarding consumer scams:

Spring Time

The start of an early spring has inspired me to think outside my own creative box and personal comfort zone.  Balance.  Not white, not black but grey. 

I branched out this month and signed up for 2 ETSY showcases and one is for today!  I also am sponsoring Rachel (coincidence, right?) from PS I Quilt for a couple months...it must be a Rachel thing. {lol}
