Moda, Quilt and Free!

  What is Moda-Plume, Free and Quilted all over?

.....My giveaway on PSIQUILT.com! Yes---June is the chosen month for a giveaway from Quilter Girl! One lucky winner will receive a small Dahlia quilt, handmade by me. Perfect for an office or empty wall pleading for a splash of color. Even though it's grey and rainy in Seattle, the flowers are still vibrantly blooming! Although Quilter Girl offers custom and creative longarm quilting services, this quilt will suite anyone quilter or non-quilter alike. This Dahlia flower template pattern is for sale and will be available in my ETSY store very soon! { www.quiltergirldotcom.etsy.com }

The series of flowers I'm working on are intended to be completely universal and will be great for any beginner or advanced skill level. New quilters/sewers-- don't shy away...these aren't too intimidating for you. I will be posting my samples of  a quick zig zag machine appliqué and raw edge appliqué! If you don't share my love for fabric, I have a secret to share. These are awesome with paper, too! These Dahlias are not bias! Fabric, Paper, Vinyl...we don't play favorites, all are welcome!

PS. Don't forget to become my fan on facebook!

Good luck!

Spring Time

The start of an early spring has inspired me to think outside my own creative box and personal comfort zone.  Balance.  Not white, not black but grey.

I branched out this month and signed up for 2 ETSY showcases and one is for today!  I also am sponsoring Rachel (coincidence, right?) from PS I Quilt for a couple months...it must be a Rachel thing. {lol}

Check them out - you won't be disappointed!
